Product Spotlight - FAQ - Online DVD Rental

What is DVD online rental?

Online DVD movie rental is one of the great online services that was made possible by two events in the late 1990's: the introduction of most movies in the DVD format, and the Internet.

Online DVD rental by mail is a service where you sign up for a program on the internet, and select movies to be sent to you in the mail. The DVDs arrive in the mail, you watch them and then return each in the postage paid mailer. You can keep the movie as long as you want without paying extra.

The number of movies typically varies by the program you have joined. For example, you may be allowed 3, 4, 6, or more movies out at a time, and would be charged accordingly. You manage your list of movies online, and can pick and choose from a huge inventory - much larger than any local video store could ever handle.

When you want to rent movies, there are a few different online movie rental programs out there - the largest and best known being Netflix.com. They have a very good reputation for dependability and customer service. We have been using the service for several years and have rarely had any difficulties.
