How is a DVD rental club different from a DVD purchase club?
There are two basic types of DVD Clubs: DVD Purchase Clubs and DVD Rental Clubs.
A DVD Purchase Club is a service where a user purchases DVDs to own. A DVD Rental Club is an online DVD rental service where the user only rents the DVD movies.
A DVD Rental Club is typically a subscription service, where the member is able to view as many movies as they would like for a fixed cost per month. The number of DVDs available to the user is determined by the program - whether they have 3, 4, 5, or more movies out at a time - and by how quickly the movies are returned.
DVD Purchase Clubs are similar to CD Clubs where the member typically pays a low introductory price, and over time you purchase more at the regular price.
