Catherine Zeta Jones
Catherine Zeta Jones Biography:
Born September 25, 1969, in Swansea, Wales, Catherine Zeta-Jones was made for show business, dancing and singing for her Catholic church as a child and starring in local productions of Broadway plays in her teens.
She finally made her way into television in a 1991 series, "Darling Buds of May," which became a hit in the United Kingdom and turned Zeta-Jones into a star. But she didn't make an impression worldwide until she was cast opposite Antonio Banderas in The Mask of Zorro in 1998 and in Entrapment a year later.
Her career skyrocketed soon after with roles in Traffic (2000) and America's Sweethearts (2001), culminating in Chicago (2002), for which she won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. She married actor Michael Douglas in 2000.
