Brad Pitt
Brad Pitt Biography:
Brad Pitt was born December 18, 1963, in Shawnee, Okla., and raised in Springfield, Mo., where he was involved in school musicals while growing up. Pitt eventually moved to California just two credits short of graduating college and supported himself with odd jobs (driving strippers in limos, moving refrigerators, dressing as a giant chicken for El Pollo Loco) while trying to get his acting career started.
During the late 1980s, Pitt landed a few TV guest spots ("Dallas," "Glory Days") as well as roles in TV films; finally, in 1991, he gained relatively instant stardom as the hitchhiking hunk who seduces Geena Davis in the feature film Thelma & Louise.
Other notable performances include A River Runs Through It (1992), Interview with the Vampire (1994), Legends of the Fall (1994), Seven (1995), his Oscar-nominated role in 12 Monkeys (1995), Fight Club (1999) and Snatch (2000).
